These Terms govern your use of Trigon (the "Service"), operated by Trigon Codes LLC ("Trigon", "we", "us"), trading as Trigon and published under the LightWalker Studios banner. By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Trigon generates custom-shaped QR codes, hosts short redirect links for them, and reports scan activity. Codes remain editable so a printed code can be pointed at a new destination.

2. Eligibility and account

• You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction, or have authority to bind the organization you represent.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• use it for unlawful purposes, fraud, phishing, malware distribution, or spam;
• redirect codes to content that infringes intellectual property or other rights;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including probing, scanning, scraping, or circumventing technical limits;
• resell, redistribute, or reverse engineer the Service.

Because redirect destinations can be changed after printing, using a Trigon link to deceive scanners — bait-and-switch to unrelated, harmful, or adult content — is a material breach.

4. Licence and intellectual property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. Trigon Codes LLC retains all rights in the Service, its software, documentation, and branding. QR code images you generate, and the content you point them at, remain yours; you grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to operate the Service.

5. Payments, plans and billing

Trigon offers a free plan, a $5/month subscription, and a $20 one-time Lifetime purchase (both tax included). Payment, billing, currency, tax, invoicing, cancellation, and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller and are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy.

6. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

7. Service level and warranties

We work to keep hosted redirects available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill — for example the cost of reprinting materials. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

9. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your redirect destinations, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your hosted redirects stop resolving; you may export your codes and scan data for 30 days before deletion.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, and the courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
